Applause Nominations
Think about a scenario in your professional life where someone you or someone you know has felt heard, seen, and appreciated. Recall a situation in which a colleague went the extra mile to cultivate an inclusive, supportive, and motivational work environment. Consider those who have empowered or inspired someone you know. Does this sound familiar to you? You can use the form below to nominate a colleague for an Applause Award in recognition of their contributions.
Please provide thoughtful responses of up to 300 words demonstrating how your nominee fulfills the description of this recognition. See some example responses for inspiration.
- How have they embodied WiT’s motto of “Advance, Inspire, Empower and Act.”?
- How have they fostered an inclusive culture at UCI with their words, values, actions and attitudes?
In answering the two short-answer questions, please address your nominee’s professional or personal accomplishments you’d like to highlight.
Multiple nominations are not necessary for someone to become a recipient. We welcome nominations of all UCI staff and faculty (of any gender identity or gender expression). Recipients from the previous two Applause cycles are not eligible for the current cycle.
