Women in Tech @ UCI extends our congratulations to the women of UC Irvine recognized by the UC IT Blog for their extraordinary accomplishments during the COVID-19 pandemic. Nominated by their supervisors and colleagues, these four trailblazers are bringing IT solutions to life when we need them now more than ever:
- Kathleen Quan (Patient Safety and Quality, Epidemiology and Infection Prevention, UCI Health) for her tireless efforts in ensuring a timely and or
- Dr. Lindsey Spiegelman (Department of Emergency Medicine, UCI Health) for implementing virtual services and workflows for UCI’s Telehealth Initiative to overcome mounting clinical challenges and organized rollout of COVID-19 vaccinations
- Stacey Rose (Network Projects and Infrastructure Engineers) for coordinating a full COVID-19 vaccine eco-system infrastructure across multiple teams and within 48 hours
- Shelly Toole (OIT Facilities) for selflessness and support in providing nearly 900 pieces of computer equipment to students in need
